Pack a bag lunch and come enjoy the day with us.

          Be the instruments of love and comfort for those in need

        As you may have noticed we no longer hold the Blessing of the Shawls service at church each month.  We are now blessing them during our monthly meeting, this way each lady can be there to participate in the blessing of each shawl.  We light a candle and lay hands on our shawls and pray together. So far this year we have not had as many shawls as in the past, but we are still  busy crocheting and still giving prayer shawls for those in need of prayer and blessings. 

If you know of anyone who is in need of prayer please let us know we will be happy to make a Prayer Shawl, Blanket, Scarf, baby blanket or what every you would like.

does not give the shawl any "magic"

The Shawls and Prayers give us FAITH
that God will be here for us, we only have to BELIEVE! 

Prayer for Blessing of Shawls

Loving God, may your grace be upon the shawls made with love and prayers.
Bless the hands that made these shawls to be the hands of blessings.
May the people who receive them be embraced with your love, hope, joy and peace.
Wrap your everlasting arm around them with your steadfast and unconditional love.
May the shawls represent your loving arm to uphold them with warmness and care.
May they feel your presence and comfort when they use them.

Loving God, reach out to those who receive the shawl
 with your healing hand and your power for their wellness and wholeness.
Give them wisdom, strengthen them and bless them in all things they do.

In Jesus name we pray

or to help commemorate special occasions.

We took our crocheting and lunch for a lovely afternoon, enjoying God's beautiful outdoors.
